This luminous moth features a nickel silver rocket ship body and moon phase spots made in brass and epoxy resin. The wings are verdigris patina over brass with copper accents. Green coloring varies from piece to piece due to the natural patina process — typically a bright green through aqua tone, with a frosty mica powder lacquer on top. The rocket's flame in copper leaf and enamel paint dangles below. A complex and clever piece of art jewelry.
